Tape, or fermented cassava, is commonly found in Indonesian baked and iced desserts. Cassavas are boiled and cooled before yeast is added and left to ferment, resulting in a sweet, soft and moist product. Our Kue Tape Loaf incorporates some of this ingredients into a loaf bake, resulting in an ideal accompaniment for an afternoon snack with some coffee.
